About Big Cats of Suffolk

Big Cats of Suffolk started in 2021 to promote the book Mystery Animals of Suffolk by Matt Salusbury. You can order the book from its distributors, Bittern Books,  here. (Yes, it’s on Amazon UK too.)

At the time of writing it was available from Aldeburgh Bookshop, Halesworth Bookshop, Harris & Harris of Clare, Beccles Books, Jarrold Books of Norwich, Dunwich Museum, Woodbridge Books, Moyse’s Hall, Bury St Edmund’s, Snape Maltings Crafts, Old Hunstanton Barns, Willow Tree Farm Shop of Glemsford, The Parish Lantern, Walberswick, Waterstones, Martlesham Heath, Colchester Museums  and at the Sudbury and Beccles branches of Roys of Wroxham.

There’s an extract from Mystery Animals of Suffolk, that was published in Fortean Times magazine. Read here…

The bigcatsofsuffolk.com site also serves as a contact point for reporting sightings, possible kill signs and field signs of big cats in the county of Suffolk and as an archive for historic news reports of  big cat sightings from Suffolk.

There’s a formerly-known-as-Twitter feed at @MysteryAnimals. There’s also a near-identical @MysteryAnimals feed on BlueSky.

You can “tip” me to help keep bigcatsofsuffolk’s ongoing investigations happening via Ko-fi at ko-fi.com/mattsalusbury. Details are here.
